I came across a post that spoke to me directly:
âOne day you will wake up & there wonât be any more time to do the things youâve always wanted. Do them now.â â Paulo Coelho
There's usually a crucial moment that occurs on Saturdays where after my morning sparring session, I find myself at home choosing between the couch, or the door.
Sometimes the fate of the entire afternoon seems at stake.
Deciding to take a seat can easily transition into laying down with my feet propped up on a pillow. From here, all of the cozy creature comforts are nestled neatly nearby, entirely within armâs reach. đ
Jostling myself up from a state of relaxation; I was determined not to be lazy for the second weekend straight. For a while now I've had it in mind to take my camera outside and capture what I see.
It seemed like today the weather was in my favor, boasting a temperature somewhere within the high 60s.
Keeping things simple with the lenses; I chose to bring with me a 16mm APS-C, and a Telephoto Zoom 50-230 APS-C.
In my opinion, these two focal distances provided all the range I needed for a trip to The National Mall.
Unfortunately for me, my cameraâs battery wasn't fully charged, so I didn't get to maximize the opportunity the way I wanted. I am, however, very grateful to have spent time enjoying this weather outdoors. Luckily, I brought along my Osmo Pocket 3, and was still able to record some video footage.
