It was all a part of my original plan to begin a blog in 2023, only I hadn’t quite anticipated the way things would turn out.
Most of the logistics had been handled accordingly; I knew where to host the site, and even had a bunch of ideas for initial posts all ready to go. So, what actually happened?
The Analysis Paralysis took hold, as it may during the start of any new endeavor. Making sure things are perfect before ever setting foot to the ground keeps me on the bench in endless rumination. This year I’ll be slowing everything down, taking the beginner’s approach to all my crafts, and life itself. 🧘♂️
In my opinion, a playful balance of opposing sides creates harmony for our minds and body, especially these days where it seems our attention gets pulled in so many different directions.
There are times we must rest and be inactive, while on other days we may need to push ourselves beyond usual limits. Whatever comes our way, It is important not to exist within the extremes of a given spectrum.
Having a day off to enjoy this salubrious sunset helps make this an easy decision for me. 🌆
